All of our homecare staff are fully referenced checked and hold an Enhanced Disclosure from the CRB (a check that shows that they have no criminal record and are not banned from working with vulnerable people.) They are interviewed face to face by one of our trained consultants, and their skills, experience and personality are assessed before being offered work.

Our induction process includes being informed about our policies and procedures, and they sign a code of conduct which includes the importance of respecting choice and allowing dignity. They are also trained on Moving and Handling Regulations to keep both themselves and yourself safe.

Continuity is key. We know that building that relationship with your carer is important so that they get to know your preferences, and you feel comfortable with them. That is why we look to put in place a small team that can work together as your main carers.
