Support Workers

Hanover Care supply support workers to a wide range of client groups of all ages in various units across Sussex. These include Residential Units, Day Centres, Schools, Supported Living and Sheltered Housing. Our staff have a minimum of 6 months’ experience and a wide range of specialisms including working with the following: Adults and/or Children with Learning Disabilities, Adults with mental health, Elderly, People with sensory impairment, Substance misuse.

Registration Process

Each Support Worker goes through our thorough recruitment process which includes a full face-to-face interview with a Care Consultant who discusses their work history and experience, the environments they have worked in, and assesses their suitability and checks relevant paperwork. All our Support workers have a minimum of 2 references including their current or most recent employment, and these references cover a minimum of 5 years. Their eligibility to work is checked and an Enhanced CRB Disclosure is obtained,  including checks against the suitability to work with both adults and children.

Client-matching

Thanks to our thorough recruitment process, and our ongoing communication with our staff, we are able to identify the work that they are seeking and the settings that they would be best for. Combine this with our pride in getting to know our client’s needs and ongoing monitoring, and this explains why we are able to best match our staff to our bookings.
